Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Interventional Radiologist to join our dynamic team on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to, angiography, embolization, and biopsy.
Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plans.
Interpret radiological images and provide detailed reports.
Maintain high standards of patient safety and care throughout all procedures.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, protocols, and safety standards.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient case discussions.
Provide consultation and guidance to junior medical staff and radiology trainees.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in interventional radiology techniques and best practices.

Requirements:

MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
Full GMC (General Medical Council) registration with a license to practice.
CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in Radiology or equivalent.
Subspecialty training in Interventional Radiology.
Proven experience in performing a broad range of interventional radiology procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
