Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Interventional Radiologist to join our dynamic team on a temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to, angiography, embolization, and biopsy.
- Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plans.
- Interpret radiological images and provide detailed reports.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and care throughout all procedures.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, protocols, and safety standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient case discussions.
- Provide consultation and guidance to junior medical staff and radiology trainees.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in interventional radiology techniques and best practices.
Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- Full GMC (General Medical Council) registration with a license to practice.
- CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in Radiology or equivalent.
- Subspecialty training in Interventional Radiology.
- Proven experience in performing a broad range of interventional radiology procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
