Description

As a Band 6 Locum Physiotherapist, you will assess, plan, and deliver individualized treatment plans to patients with a wide range of conditions. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing expert care to help patients regain their independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions and functional abilities.
Develop and implement evidence-based physiotherapy treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adapting treatment plans as needed.
Provide guidance and support to Band 5 physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with organizational and professional standards.
Participate in service improvement initiatives and audits to enhance patient care.

Essential Requirements

Degree in Physiotherapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Minimum of two years of post-graduate experience, including at least one year in a Band 5 or Band 6 role.
Experience working in [insert specific area, e.g., musculoskeletal, respiratory, neurology, or community physiotherapy].
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
