We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and skilled Band 7 Echocardiologist to join our team on a locum basis. The successful candidate will provide high-quality echocardiography services, focusing on patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and play a key role in ensuring the best possible care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive echocardiographic assessments, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography.
Analyze and interpret echocardiographic data to provide accurate diagnoses and support clinical decision-making.
Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in echocardiography and cardiac care.
Ensure compliance with trust protocols and healthcare standards.

Essential Criteria:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant healthcare or science discipline.
BSE accreditation (or equivalent qualification).
Proven experience working as a Band 7 Echocardiologist or equivalent role.
Expertise in performing and interpreting a variety of echocardiographic procedures.
Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and pathophysiology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
