We are currently seeking a dedicated Locum Occupational Therapist to support our clients in achieving their maximum level of independence.

Duties:-

• Complex and Non-Complex Assessment Cases
• Specialist Occupational Therapy assessments of individual needs and design adaptive/rehabilitative intervention plans to maximise functional independence in activities of daily living
• Complex moving and handling risk assessments, with provision of specialist equipment, advise, demonstration (including to carers and care workers), training and a Personal Handling Plan to minimise risk to service users and carers,
• To draw up and recommend major adaptations to service users’ homes
• Seeing all cases through from start to finish
• The majority, if not all of the workload/cases with be adult patients
• Initial Visits, Planning, Equipment Ordering, Room Design (where applicable), Revisits to ensure completion, per case
• Working with the local authority and social work teams
