As a Band 7 Locum MSK Physiotherapist, you will take the lead in assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. You will deliver evidence-based treatment plans, mentor junior staff, and contribute to service development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical assessments and diagnoses for patients with complex MSK conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans to promote recovery and improve function.
• Deliver manual therapy, exercise therapy, and other physiotherapy modalities as appropriate.
• Educate and empower patients to manage their conditions effectively through self-care strategies.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic, patient-centered care.
• Mentor and support junior physiotherapists and students, promoting professional development.
• Contribute to service improvement initiatives, audits, and research activities.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive patient records in line with professional and organizational standards.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols, including infection prevention and control measures.

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc or MSc) and HCPC registration.
• Significant post-graduate experience in MSK physiotherapy, including complex case management.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to deliver evidence-based care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Up-to-date knowledge of professional guidelines, including CSP standards.
