We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Locum Consultant Psychiatrist. In this key role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive psychiatric services to patients with mental health disorders. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth psychiatric assessments and evaluations.
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans for patients with complex mental health conditions.
• Prescribe medications and monitor patients for side effects, adjusting treatment as needed.
• Work closely with mental health nurses, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Attend multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and review patient care plans.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Provide consultation and liaison services as required to other medical professionals.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Specialist registration in Psychiatry.
• Proven experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist, with locum experience being an advantage.
• Expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of mental health disorders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
