Description

We are looking for a full time GP to working within the Eating Disorders team.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans for patients with eating disorders.
Provide ongoing medical monitoring and management of physical health complications related to eating disorders.
Collaborate closely with dietitians, psychologists, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
Offer advice and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options, recovery goals, and health management.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with clinical guidelines.
Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and care planning sessions.
Ensure all care is provided in line with clinical governance, regulatory standards, and best practices.

Requirements:

Medical degree with full GMC (General Medical Council) registration and a license to practice.
Experience in general practice with a focus or interest in eating disorders.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of the management of eating disorders and associated health conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Empathetic and patient-centered approach to care.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development.
