We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Occupational Therapist to join our team on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated professional who is passionate about helping individuals regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

As a Locum Occupational Therapist, you will provide assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services to a diverse range of clients. You will be working closely with individuals who have physical, mental, or social challenges and helping them achieve their full potential through therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of clients.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client goals.
• Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve functional abilities and independence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, social workers, and healthcare professionals, to ensure integrated care.
• Monitor and review client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate clients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and strategies to support continued progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and client progress.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
• HCPC registered (or other relevant regulatory body).
• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in community or hospital settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of clients.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
