We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, cognitive, and psychological needs.
• Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to promote patient independence and functional skills.
• Provide rehabilitation programs in a variety of settings, including hospital wards, outpatient clinics, and community settings.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, nurses, doctors, and social workers.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide guidance, education, and support to patients, families, and carers.
• Contribute to discharge planning and coordinate care with other services.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
• Proven experience at Band 6 level or equivalent, with a background in rehabilitation, community care, or acute settings.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to manage a complex caseload.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred (if applicable).
