Description

As a Locum Band 7 MSK Sonographer, you will perform high-quality musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound scans, assess images, and provide precise diagnostic reports. You’ll work closely with referring physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver effective diagnostic services and contribute to improved patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care: Provide excellent patient-centered care, ensuring comfort and clear communication during scans.
Ultrasound Imaging: Conduct MSK ultrasound scans, accurately assessing a range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Diagnosis & Reporting: Analyze scan results and generate comprehensive reports to support clinical decision-making.
Collaboration: Liaise with other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to multi-disciplinary case discussions.
Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of practice, adhering to protocols and guidelines to ensure quality and consistency in imaging.

Essential Requirements

Qualifications: Degree in Radiography or Medical Ultrasound (or equivalent) with specialized training in MSK ultrasound.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in MSK ultrasound at a Band 7 level or equivalent. Proficiency in performing and interpreting MSK scans independently is essential.
