We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Locum Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities:-

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional abilities, needs, and goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to enhance patients' independence and quality of life.
• Employ various therapeutic techniques and interventions to address patients' occupational performance issues.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers to promote understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and social workers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with NHS standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor junior occupational therapists, assistants, and students.

Essential Criteria:-

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration.
• Proven post-qualification experience in occupational therapy.
• Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and treatment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
