We are currently seeking a dedicated Band 6 Locum Occupational Therapist to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

As a Band 6 Locum Occupational Therapist, you will provide specialized assessment and therapeutic intervention to support patients in achieving their maximum potential in daily living, work, and leisure activities. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to innovative care plans and improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and social needs.
Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the wider healthcare team.
Use evidence-based practice to deliver high-quality interventions.
Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting plans as needed.
Provide guidance and support to junior team members, where appropriate.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records in line with professional and organizational standards.

Essential Requirements

Degree in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration.
Proven experience in a Band 5 or Band 6 role, with a minimum of two years in clinical practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
