Description
As a Locum Podiatrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive podiatry services across various locations within the CCICP area. You will work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' podiatric needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address a variety of foot and lower limb conditions.
- Provide expert podiatry interventions, including wound care and management.
- Educate patients on foot care and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, protocols, and safety standards.
- Engage in clinical audits, research activities, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Degree in Podiatry and HCPC registration.
- Experience in wound care is essential.
- Proficiency in using EMIS (preferred).
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work in multiple locations across the CCICP footprint.
