We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Locum Band 7 Pharmacist to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert clinical pharmacy services across wards and outpatient settings.
• Conduct medication reviews, provide drug information, and support safe prescribing practices.
• Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Support the implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols to ensure high standards of medication safety.
• Participate in discharge planning, ensuring the accurate and timely supply of medicines to patients.
• Educate and counsel patients on their medications, including potential side effects and interactions.
• Contribute to audits, service improvement initiatives, and the training of junior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

Qualifications and Experience:

• MPharm degree or equivalent and current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Significant experience working at Band 7 level or equivalent in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to manage a diverse and complex caseload.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Experience with electronic prescribing systems is desirable.
