Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities:-

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual therapy programs for patients with a range of conditions.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional abilities and needs.
Develop tailored treatment plans aimed at improving patients' independence and quality of life.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including physiotherapists, nurses, and social workers.
Provide advice, education, and support to patients, families, and carers.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Participate in clinical audits, service development, and quality improvement initiatives.

Essential Criteria:-

HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
Previous experience working as a Band 6 Occupational Therapist in a general setting.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
