We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans to support patients with physical, mental, and emotional challenges.
- Conduct comprehensive functional assessments and recommend necessary interventions, adaptations, and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care.
- Provide specialist advice to patients, families, and caregivers, offering guidance on the best practices for rehabilitation and daily living support.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet individual goals.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and contribute to service development initiatives.
- Support and supervise junior staff, therapy assistants, and students where necessary.
Essential Requirements:
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Previous experience working at Band 6 level or equivalent, with a varied caseload.
- Strong clinical skills in conducting assessments and delivering treatments across a range of conditions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
