Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Band 7 Physiotherapist. This is an exceptional opportunity to work within a reputable NHS Trust, providing advanced physiotherapy services to patients with complex needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.

Responsibilities:-

  • Conduct comprehensive and advanced assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
  • Utilize a range of advanced physiotherapy techniques and interventions to treat complex musculoskeletal, neurological, and respiratory conditions.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Provide expert advice, education, and support to patients and their families to promote health and well-being.
  • Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with doctors, nurses, and other allied health professionals.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants, and students.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in line with NHS standards.
  • Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.

Essential Criteria:-

  • Degree in Physiotherapy and current HCPC registration.
  • Significant post-qualification experience in physiotherapy, particularly in managing complex cases.
  • Advanced clinical reasoning, assessment, and treatment skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
