We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Locum Specialty Doctor in Anaesthetics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing anaesthetic services across a range of surgical specialties, working in a fast-paced and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, high-quality anaesthetic care for elective and emergency surgeries.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments, ensuring patients are well-informed and prepared for anaesthesia.
• Administer general and regional anaesthesia and monitor patients throughout procedures.
• Provide post-operative care, including pain management and recovery assessments.
• Participate in the on-call rota, covering emergency surgeries and critical care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, nurses, and operating department practitioners.
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain high standards of patient care.
• Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and departmental meetings.

Essential Requirements:

• Full GMC registration with a license to practice in the UK.
• Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years in Anaesthetics.
• Proven expertise in administering general and regional anaesthesia.
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
