We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Band 5 Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our Cath Lab team on a locum basis. This role involves providing specialized nursing support for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures, working closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference while gaining valuable experience within a leading healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with pre, intra, and post-procedure care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization.
Monitor and assess patients during procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
Prepare and maintain sterile equipment, following infection control protocols.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, supporting effective communication and care delivery.
Educate patients and families on procedure details, recovery, and aftercare.
Document patient progress accurately in line with NHS standards and Trust policies.

Essential Criteria:

Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration.
Previous experience in a Cath Lab, Cardiology, or related acute care setting.
Strong assessment, monitoring, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.
