As a Locum Band 6 Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients. Your role will involve ensuring the safe, effective, and economical use of medicines across various clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct medication reviews and provide expert advice on the safe and effective use of medicines.
Dispense medications and ensure accurate and timely supply to patients.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and therapeutic outcomes.
Provide education and support to patients regarding their medications and treatment plans.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, guidelines, and standards.
Participate in clinical audits and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Stay informed about the latest developments and best practices in pharmacy.

Requirements:

Degree in Pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Experience working as a pharmacist in a hospital or community setting.
Strong clinical and pharmaceutical knowledge.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
