Description
As a Locum Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in our psychology department, providing specialized psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions to patients. Your responsibilities will include conducting individual and group therapy sessions, administering psychological tests, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop holistic treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting psychological assessments and formulating diagnoses.
- Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals and groups.
- Administering and interpreting psychological tests and assessments.
- Collaborating with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent professional body.
- Proven experience in clinical psychology practice, including assessments and therapeutic interventions.
- Strong knowledge of psychological theories, methods, and ethics.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
