Description

As a Locum Consultant in Diabetes & Endocrinology, you will provide specialized care for patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, contribute to the development of treatment protocols, and ensure the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and manage a variety of diabetes and endocrine disorders.
Lead outpatient clinics and inpatient care for patients with complex conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
Supervise and mentor junior doctors and medical students.
Engage in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and research projects.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and safety standards.

Requirements:

Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
CCT in Diabetes & Endocrinology or equivalent.
Extensive experience in managing diabetes and endocrine disorders.
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to continuous professional development and education.
