As a Locum Consultant in Geriatric Medicine, you will provide comprehensive care to our elderly patients, managing acute and chronic conditions, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life for our senior patients. Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions prevalent in elderly patients.
Lead ward rounds and outpatient clinics focused on geriatric care.
Develop and implement individualized care plans.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
Supervise and mentor junior doctors, nurses, and medical students.
Engage in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and research projects.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, protocols, and safety standards.

Requirements:

Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
CCT in Geriatric Medicine or equivalent.
Extensive experience in geriatric medicine at the consultant level.
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to continuous professional development and education.
