Description

As a Locum Consultant in Oncology, you will be at the forefront of cancer care, providing expert diagnosis and treatment to patients with various malignancies. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized treatment plans and ensure the highest standards of care. Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and manage a wide range of oncological conditions.
Lead outpatient clinics and inpatient care for oncology patients.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and immunotherapy.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
Supervise and mentor junior doctors, nurses, and medical students.
Engage in clinical research, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, protocols, and safety standards.

Requirements:

Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
CCT in Oncology or equivalent.
Extensive experience in oncology at the consultant level.
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to continuous professional development and education.
