As a Locum Consultant Dermatologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dermatological assessments and treatments for a diverse patient population. Your expertise will contribute to the accurate diagnosis, management, and treatment of various skin conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive dermatological assessments and examinations.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, acne, and skin cancer.
• Perform dermatological procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, and minor surgical interventions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
• Educate patients and their families about skin conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Stay informed about the latest developments and best practices in dermatology.

Requirements:

• Medical degree and full GMC registration.
• CCT in Dermatology or equivalent qualification.
• Extensive experience in dermatology, preferably at a consultant level.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and education.
