Description

As a Locum Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with various needs, helping them with daily activities, promoting their independence, and ensuring their safety and well-being. You’ll work alongside healthcare professionals to deliver person-centered support in either residential or community settings.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Living Support: Assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Emotional and Social Support: Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Health Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in clients’ physical or mental health to the care team.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential records of care provided, following organizational policies and procedures.
Promoting Independence: Encourage clients to participate in activities that promote autonomy and personal growth.
Collaborative Care: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic, individualized support for each client.

Essential Requirements

Experience: Previous experience in a support or care role, ideally within a healthcare or community setting.
