Description
As a CT/MRI Radiographer, you will be an integral part of our radiology department, specializing in conducting diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologies. Your role will involve preparing patients for scans, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing CT and MRI scans in accordance with department protocols.
- Preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures.
- Operating and maintaining imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitoring patient safety and comfort throughout scans.
- Collaborating with radiologists and healthcare teams to evaluate and interpret images.
Requirements:
- Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in performing CT and MRI scans.
- Strong technical proficiency with imaging equipment and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
