We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that you demonstrate Our Care Group values, aims and objectives on a daily basis,
  striving to make a positive difference to the lives of those Service Users you support and the Unit
  environment.
• To ensure that you contribute to provide a safe, well structured environment in which Service Users
  are treated respectfully, decently and holistically.
• Respect the confidences of Service Users, except where to do so, would result in harm to a Service
  User, other individuals, damage the organisation or result in a criminal offence being committed.
• To be aware of and implement the guidelines of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and
  Our Care Group guidelines, policies and procedures and to ensure that these are adhered
  to by all staff whilst on duty.
• To have an understanding of the minimum care standards/ regulations (2008 & 2015) as
  requirements laid down by CQC/HIW.
• To manage, report and document complaints or untoward incidents (as per Our Care
  Group policy) within the Unit including accidents and feedback to senior staff.
• To assist with stock control, ordering, storage, safeguard and administration of medicines including
  Controlled Drugs with the Unit and to report any discrepancy immediately (as per Our Care
  Group policy medication policy document), to Manager/ Senior Manager.
• To take responsibility for the safekeeping of any monies received via the Unit whilst on duty (until
  collected by Senior Management)
• May be delegated to conduct fire alarm tests weekly and 3 monthly fire drills as scheduled (in the
  absence of maintenance personnel/ Manager)
• To provide information to Service Users or agencies requesting details about admission or refer
  such enquiries to Manager and Senior Manager.
