Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a nurse who wants to make a difference in our patients lives and take on the role of Senior Nurse.
Responsibilities:-
- To produce and maintain concise, clear and effective person-centred care plans, risk assessments, rehabilitation pathways and reports for residents in line with key legislation and CQC regulations, incorporating a holistic approach to care.
- Monitor the implementation process for care and rehabilitation pathways within your allocated unit.
- Ensure that all medication is administered and recorded correctly according to procedures
- Follow nursing management strategies for residents with complex physical and sensory disabilities, seeking specific/specialist advice when appropriate, informing the Unit Manager or Director of Nursing of any changes to a resident’s circumstances.
- Participate in MDT meetings, assessments, and placement reviews.
- Provide support and education to residents enabling them to make choices and understand their emotional, social, health and well-being needs. This may include handling distressing or emotional circumstances with the resident and their family members/friends.
- Complete all documentation accurately and on time, adhering to GDPR regulations and maintaining confidentiality.
