We have a superb opportunity for a patient-centred fulltime Nurse Associate to join our hospital. You’ll take responsibility for performing tasks and duties as delegated by the Registered Nurse(s) as you provide outstanding nursing interventions and care to all our patients.  As our Nursing Associate, you will foster a culture of professionalism and a positive working environment whilst following the hospital’s guidelines and protocol.

You will need the appropriate qualifications and be registered on the NMC prior to applying.

About the Role:-

• Your role purpose will be to plan and implement high standards of care, following our hospital’s guidelines and protocol, promoting a patient-focused approach to care.
• You will play an integral part in the planning and implementing of outstanding patient care whilst acting as the patient’s advocate and maintaining their dignity at all times. You will take responsibility for ensuring that the care areas are safe, fit for purpose and effectively managed
• Vital is the delivery of high standards of evidence-based care as is the maintenance of safe custody of all medications and controlled drugs.
• You will assist with the post-operative care of patients where data should be accurately recorded on APAS and Endobase and other written notes. Furthermore, you will contribute to budgetary management and ward audits within the ward and the compilation of supporting written documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills will be required to supervise junior members of the team and to mentor them to achieve their workplace competencies.
