We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and compassionate ODP or nurse who is looking to take the next step in their career and join our dedicated perioperative team as a Senior Theatre Practitioner.

Role Responsibilities include:

• Working as a senior member of the team you will ensure a high standard of clinical care and safety for patients within the theatre unit.
• Lead and mentor junior members of the team, deputising for the Lead Theatre Practitioner when necessary.
• Communicating effectively with other departments e.g. Sterile Services, Wards, and Imaging department to ensure efficient patient care.
• Preparing operating and anaesthetic rooms for surgery as required. To include equipment and supplies required for specific procedures, ensuring appropriate use of resources and minimal waste.
• Ensuring the highest standards of infection prevention and control are carried out.
• Assessing patient care requirements, implementing care and evaluating outcomes.
