We have an opportunity for a registered Operating Department Practitioner. You will be a valued member of the team, where we will encourage and support you to develop new skills and knowledge in a range of clinical skills, within multiple specialisms - anaesthetic, scrub, recovery and endoscopy practitioner.

Working as part of a team, you will support our main theatre department as well as the endoscopy unit, as and when required.

You will promote best evidence-based practice as you act as the patient’s advocate, always maintaining their dignity, and will ensure patient care areas are safe, fit for purpose and effectively maintained.

Skills & Experience Required:-

• First level Registered Nurse/ HCPC registered ODP
• Post registration education/experience in a relevant specialty is desirable defined in anaesthetic or recovery 
• Ability to organise, plan and problem solve on a case by case basis
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills to build and support team working
• Strong patient centred approach
• Basic computer skills e.g., MS Outlook and web-based reporting systems
