Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated healthcare team in London. The successful candidate will work with individuals of all ages who are experiencing physical, mental, or social difficulties to help them achieve independence and improve their quality of life. This role offers the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, community health centres, and patients' homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical, mental, and social conditions to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to improve patients' ability to perform daily tasks.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on strategies to manage their conditions and enhance their quality of life.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay updated with the latest practices and research in occupational therapy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
