We have an exciting opportunity for an empathetic and dynamic nurse with a passion for patient care to join our Preoperative Assessment team as a Staff Nurse.  This role is ideally suited to an experienced staff nurse who is passionate about the preoperative assessment service, and would like to deliver this in a clinical environment that supports collaborative working and the time to care.

Responsibilities:-

• Demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and be accountable for own actions
• Assess patients, according to the relevant pathway, to determine they are fit for their procedure prior to admission.
• Maintaining accurate patient records via the preassessment digital portal (Lifebox).
• Assist patients with the completion of their medical history on Lifebox where necessary.
• Champion infection prevention and control in your daily work.
