As a Consultant in Acute / General Medicine, you will be a vital part of our healthcare team, providing expert medical care to patients with acute and general medical conditions. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards of care and contributing to the development of innovative treatment protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert diagnosis and management of acute and general medical conditions.
• Lead and participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise and mentor junior doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in the on-call rota to provide continuous care.
• Engage in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and research activities.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, protocols, and safety standards.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
• CCT in Acute / General Medicine or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in acute and general medicine at the consultant level.
• Strong leadership and clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
