Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Nurse Trainer to join our team and lead the delivery of high-quality training and education for nursing staff.

This role is ideal for a passionate individual who thrives on empowering others, enhancing clinical skills, and driving excellence in patient care.

As a Permanent Nurse Trainer, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing training programs for nursing staff, ensuring they meet professional and regulatory standards. You will assess training needs, create tailored learning solutions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deliver, and evaluate clinical training programs for nursing staff at all levels.
  • Facilitate onboarding and induction programs for new nurses.
  • Conduct skills assessments and competency evaluations.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing staff, fostering professional growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest healthcare practices and ensure training aligns with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to identify training needs and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities and staff compliance.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled professional who meets the following criteria:

Essential:

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
  • Proven experience in a clinical or educational role within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing standards, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to inspire, mentor, and engage learners effectively.

Desirable:

  • A recognized teaching or training qualification (e.g., PGCert in Medical Education, Train the Trainer).
  • Experience designing e-learning modules or blended learning solutions.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance and accreditation processes.
