Description
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Nurse Trainer to join our team and lead the delivery of high-quality training and education for nursing staff.
This role is ideal for a passionate individual who thrives on empowering others, enhancing clinical skills, and driving excellence in patient care.
As a Permanent Nurse Trainer, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing training programs for nursing staff, ensuring they meet professional and regulatory standards. You will assess training needs, create tailored learning solutions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deliver, and evaluate clinical training programs for nursing staff at all levels.
- Facilitate onboarding and induction programs for new nurses.
- Conduct skills assessments and competency evaluations.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing staff, fostering professional growth.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest healthcare practices and ensure training aligns with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to identify training needs and develop strategies for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities and staff compliance.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled professional who meets the following criteria:
Essential:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- Proven experience in a clinical or educational role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of nursing standards, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to inspire, mentor, and engage learners effectively.
Desirable:
- A recognized teaching or training qualification (e.g., PGCert in Medical Education, Train the Trainer).
- Experience designing e-learning modules or blended learning solutions.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance and accreditation processes.
