Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Audiologist who can work independently in community clinics to offer diagnostic audiology assessments in support of Ear, Nose and Throat clinics, as well as aural toilet clinics, advice, counselling, education and monitoring of treatment regimes.
Main duties of the job: The department offers a full range of audiological services including
- Diagnostic support to the ENT department
- Reassessments
- Domiciliary service
- Hearing therapy
- Tinnitus management
- Vestibular rehabilitation and Assessment
- Adults with Learning Difficulties clinic
- To provide Audiological diagnostic support to ENT clinics for adults and children, to include puretone audiometry and tympanometry as required, adapting instructions for individual patients to accomplish full understanding to obtain an accurate test response.
- Provides a comprehensive hearing aid service for patients referred from ENT and Audiologists, including provision of a full range of digital hearing aids.
Applicants must have a BSc in Audiology, or equivalent audiology qualifications and have good communication skills.
