Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Consultant Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

Responsibilities:-

Participate in teaching, examination and appraisal duties
Bring experience to clinical diagnosis and effective multidisciplinary team-working
Develop and implement standards of obstetric & gynaecological practice and have a major role in developing specific pathways, guidelines and risk management including maintaining and developing the risk for inpatient services
Audit the effectiveness of practice and develop and modify, as required
Train and educate staff in a multidisciplinary team
Provide clinical leadership, leading by example

Essential Requirements:-

MRCOG or appropriate specialist qualification
Possession of relevant Postgraduate Qualification or equivalent
Full GMC registration with a license to practice at date of Commencement OR within one month of receipt of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) at time of interview
Evidence of entry on GMC Specialist Register OR be within 6 months of attaining CCT at time of interview and entry on GMC Specialist Register by date of commencement OR Evidence that the GMC is processing the Specialist Registration application (MUST be provided prior to interview
Any of the following ATSM or equivalent: SSM/ SST / ATSM in Advance Labour ward / ATSM in High-Risk Pregnancy / ATSM Maternal Medicine /General Obstetrics
Experience of working as a ST7 and above in the NHS
