Description

We are looking for a Consultant Oncologist that have particular interests in UGI, Germ Cell, Skin & HPB tumour sites but are open to discussions around these, knowing flexibility is important.

Responsibilities:-

Provision of emergency cover and reciprocal cover for your consultantcolleagues during reasonable periods of leave, on a shared basis. This willinclude care of patients and supervision of junior doctors.
The care of patients in his/her charge and for the proper functioning of the Department
Undertaking teaching/training duties as required and activelyparticipating in the postgraduate and undergraduate teaching programmes
Participating in clinical and medical audit and actively contributing in bothdepartmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance
Actively participating in continuing medical education (CME)

Essential Criteria:-

Possession of MRCP or equivalent
Evidence of entry on GMC Specialist Register OR Have CCT or be within 6 months of attaining CCT at time of interview OR Evidence that the GMC is processing the Specialist Registration application (MUST be provided prior to interview)
Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
